The Senior BI Recruiter will lead, execute, and track the full life cycle of recruiting activities, from position identification and resource requirements analysis to position closure, for internal BI resource needs as well as for the needs of clients seeking to enhance their BI capabilities.
Responsibilities:
• Launch and execute searches through proactive, aggressive, and creative sourcing strategies that identify, attract, and secure top BI talent, and that help grow Clarity’s BI consulting bench.
• Work with executive leadership, clients, business unit leaders, and sales teams to determine corporate strategy; to identify immediate, near-term, and future BI resource gaps and requirements; and to define position responsibilities.
• Build recruiting/sourcing strategies that correspond to identified strategy as well as resource gaps and requirements.
• Identify, use, and develop a variety of sourcing techniques that include web and event networking/marketing, database/resume mining, referral generation, organizational partnerships, and cold calling.
• Continually evaluate and enhance strategies to ensure that they yield a diverse and highly qualified pool of consulting talent.
• Develop point recruiting strategies for sourcing and attracting both general and niche skill sets throughout the BI technology/process stack.
• Establish hiring goals, benchmarks and KPIs; and document hiring strategies, progress, and results against these.
• For all resource requirements across the spectrum of BI domains and competencies, identify, screen, and interview candidates; evaluate skill sets and experience; verify references; and qualify candidates for further screening by clients and executive management.
• Document and maintain candidate interview notes.
• Motivate and educate candidates on potential BI positions and responsibilities.
• Promote Clarity’s value proposition to all candidates, positioning the company as a desired employer in the BI space.
• Communicate consistently and proactively with candidates, management, and clients throughout the recruiting life cycle.
• Debrief candidates post-interview and provide constructive and thorough feedback.
• Develop strong working relationships with candidates in order to monitor and help manage their career paths.
• Help structure, communicate, and extend employment offers as well as document candidate responses.
• Provide key input to Clarity’s overall consultant acquisition and retention strategy.
• Attend recruiting conferences and job fairs in the industry as appropriate.
• Represent recruiting staff at regular internal meetings.
• Work with other recruiters to delegate/allocate hiring responsibilities and tasks.
Requirements:
• BA/BS in Human Resources, Business, or Communications; or a BS in a technology field with equivalent work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
• Technology background, particularly in business intelligence/data warehousing, strongly preferred.
• At least five years of experience in a recruiting role within a corporate, search firm, or consulting firm environment.
• Proven leadership experience across the full recruiting life cycle.
• Proven experience assisting executive management in aligning corporate goals/strategy with human resources planning and development.
• Experience with a variety of sourcing techniques, particularly Internet-based, and with commercially available applicant tracking software
• High comfort level and ability to converse and interact with candidates from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures.
• Outstanding listening skills, negotiation skills, and verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to work well independently.
